During the Latitude59 event in Tallinn, there was a discussion panel “Digital Nomads and the future of work”.

As part of the Economic Accelerator program, the Małopolska Innovation Rocket project is implemented, which is organized in the years 2021-2022 by the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies.

As part of the project, 2 companies from the Lesser Poland Voivodeship (Kooderzy, Onteon Tech) participate in the Latitude59 event in Tallinn.

As part of the Latitude59 event, which is devoted to startups and innovations, a Digital Nomads and the future of work panel was held.

The moderator of the discussion was Alessa Berg from Top Tier Impact – a global ecosystem for leaders from the technology industry operating in the field of sustainability.

The panelists were Karoli Hindricks from Jobbatical and Sarah Sandnes from SafetyWings.

The panelists agreed that the future of employment is happening now. Modern forms of employment have already been and are being introduced on a large scale. Even before the pandemic, technology companies were employing the remote and hybrid models, and now it is happening on an even larger scale.

The panelists also confirmed that nowadays flexibility from the employer in terms of the form of employment, flexible hours and workplace is very important.
