During the second day of EU-Startups Summit 2022 there was a presentation of “Growing Global Company – The Female Founder Perspective”.
As part of the Economic Accelerator program, the Małopolska Innovation Rocket project is implemented, which is organized in the years 2021-2022 by the Foundation Institute for Eastern Studies.
As part of the project, 3 companies from the Lesser Poland Voivodeship (Versatilex, Medical Simulation Technologies and Score Digital) participate in the EU Startups Summit.
As part of the EU Startup Summit, which is devoted to startups and innovations, there was a presentation: Growing Global Company – The Female Founder Perspective.
During the presentation, Maria, Co-founder Tiendeo said that they are quite an unusual startup as all co-founders are engineers and women. As a result, most VCs are initially unsure whether to invest.
Maria also said that most of the lawyers at her firm are women, which has both pros and cons. The pluses is that as women they have a great sense of community and community. On the other hand, the downside is that they are not always respected by men, for example during business meetings.
