Project “Dolnośląskie Innovation Rocket” (nr RPDS.01.04.01-02-0003/20) is implemented under Priority Axis 1 “Enterprises and Innovation”, Measure 1.4 “Internationalisation of enterprises”, Sub-measure 1.4.1 “Internationalisation of enterprises – horizontal competition”, Scheme 1.4 C “Promotion of economic offer of the region on national and international markets” of the Regional Operational Programme for the Lower Silesian Voivodeship 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Union, European Regional Development Fund.
Project Description:
The project “Lower Silesian Innovation Rocket” aims to strengthen the economic position of Lower Silesia as a region of thriving development of innovative SMEs. Project activities are directed to Lower Silesian innovative SME companies operating in the areas of smart specialisation of the region and to potential investors and contractors from abroad.
The project will support a total of 36 companies from the region in their development and internationalisation. The project will be implemented within the period of December 1, 2020. – 31 December 2022. – 31 December 2022 r.
The project will carry out the following activities supporting the development and internationalisation of Lower Silesian innovative companies and economic promotion of Lower Silesia as a region of innovation and open for investment:
1. Promotion of the economic offer of Lower Silesia and Lower Silesian innovative SMEs:
- Recruitment of Lower Silesian innovative SMEs for the project;
- Information and promotion campaign on the region and Lower Silesian innovative SMEs; Promotion of the economic offer of Lower Silesia and innovative SMEs in Lower Silesia during the European Congress of Local Governments;
- Promotion of the economic offer of Lower Silesia and innovative SMEs during the Economic Forum in Karpacz;
- Organisation and implementation of workshops on promotion abroad for Lower Silesian companies (SMEs);
- Promotion of Lower Silesian innovative SMEs at international trade fairs;
- Organization of economic missions/study visits for SMEs from Lower Silesia abroad.

Planned effects of the project:
- Support for 36 innovative SMEs from Lower Silesia in the field of internationalisation of their business activities;
- Establishment of business contacts by Lower Silesian companies with foreign partners and recipients of products/services;
- Enabling Lower Silesian SMEs to contact foreign investors;
